A number of us like to run. Many of us have big hearts and like to help out. Nearly all of us have been touched by Cancer. Please do your part to help out with this worthy event.

As many of us here may be vegan, I think it's important to find out if this charity supports tests done on animals. I for one would not support them if they did. Don't mean to be raining on your parade, but this is a vital issue for ethical vegans and many vegetarians. It's worth finding out.

I am happy to see we have a blog now! keep up the great work Sheriss! :-)

Hi Pamela,

I understand your concern as the ethical treatment of animals is important to all of us. The Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund aims to help economically disadvantaged cancer patients pay non-medical bills. They do not support medical research of any kind, just patients in need of financial assistance.

I would like to assure you that our organization would never align ourselves with any organization that does not treat animals or people, for that matter, with the utmost respect.
