"Atlanta area veg heads are not very social"

Let me preface this by saying, we here at VeglifeAtl are the most social veg heads we know. So clearly this person was referring to all of you other vegetarians/vegans in Atlanta. That being said, we had the fortunate/unfortunate opportunity (depending on how you look at it) to speak with a fellow Atlanta vegetarian this past week and a few revelations came from that conversation.

Part 1 of which we are sharing with you today.

"Veg heads in Atlanta are not very social. Nor do they interact very well with one another."

We'll give details of what prompted this person to make this bold statement in our next post.

Tony is coming to Atlanta!!!! We're so excited!

The Falcons have acquired Tony Gonzales from the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday for a draft pick next year. He is one of the true pros of the league! He's a professional, he's productive and he's vegan!! How awesome is that?!

What a valuable, special trade!

"With Matt Ryan, Michael Turner, Roddy White and now myself, we have the chance to be in the top five in the league in offense every year," Gonzalez said. "How could I not be excited to join that team?"

How could we not be excited he's on his way! In fact, he'll be here tomorrow, Friday!

How could we forget to tell you about our visit to Harmony Vegetarian Chinese! An awesome time! Though it was on a week night and really cold, quite a few dedicated veggie friends trekked out to enjoy a great meal!
